Hi, my name is Ben and welcome to Hangar Stories!
As how many of us do, I fell in love with aviation at an early age! I became not only fascinated with how to fly airplanes, but also the history of how we got here. After becoming the first pilot (PPL) in my family at the age of 21, I decided I wanted to explore more fully the stories of how aviation changed the world.
So I started Hangar Stories YouTube Channel and dove headfirst into creating content on the fascinating stories of how their experiences has shaped our world and future!

On my YouTube channel and we're going to tell the stories that have never been told before! We'll uncover the pivotal events and legendary pilots that helped shaped the world of aviation.
We'll explore stories like Col. William L Rankin on the left who became the first pilot to eject into a thunderstorm and yet live to tell the tale. Other key moments like the first atomic bomb mission, the story of U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers, and Chuck Yeager’s historic sound barrier break will give us insight into the world that we live in today.
Of course, we're going to have to try and unravel a few bizarre aviation mysteries and dive further into the early days of aviation.
